During a recent blog browsing session I came across this blog.
I discovered Kathy hosts a Photo Scavenger Hunt . I was immediately drawn to joining in as I really want to improve my photography skills and do some real stuff with my camera .
This Photo Hunt really challenged me to think and look - which I thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely do again!

So for the very first time, here are my photos for the May 2011 Photo Scavenger Hunt:
a butterfly: caught in a spider's web in my caravan.
a cartoon character: A group of famous Aussie fish on my daughter's backpack.
- a portrait in black and white: my daughter - I love this.
a red door: local bathing beach box.
a sign of the zodiac: a Scorpion on my carpet.
a street light: on a grey and dark morning.
an emergency vehicle: local fire engine.
an interesting local building: A grand entrance to this home.
something blue: the back of the skate bowl.
texture: My favourite photo - cracked paint and dripping glue on a door lock.
think vintage!: vintage floral sheets at the opp shop, (taken on my camera phone).
