Recycling yarn

I bought this old cardigan at the op-shop for $2!

It looked a bit shabby and needed some TLC.
After a soak and a good wash, the cardigan soon became this.

Total weight in yarn = 594 grams.
Now I just need to find a pattern!
 This tutorial shows you how to unravel a jumper.

Hand picked flowers my girls picked this morning on their walk and ripening tomatoes from the garden.

A gorgeous sunny winter Saturday, it felt like a sunny autumn Saturday.

As I stood at the kitchen window washing up, I took in the delights of my girls playing outside in bare feet, enjoying a snack on the picnic blanket, and happy that a load of washing was drying outside in the sunshine at this time of year!

Home-made Lemon Cordial

We were recently given a large bag of home-grown lemons.

I made up some home-made lemon cordial.

I do not buy cordial from the supermarket, so this is a treat for us.

And a delicious one at that!

Photo Scavenger Hunt

During a recent blog browsing session I came across this blog. 

I discovered Kathy hosts a Photo Scavenger Hunt . I was immediately drawn to joining in as I really want to improve my photography skills and do some real stuff with my camera .
This Photo Hunt really challenged me to think and look - which I thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely do again!
