Bestie's Blue Keepsake...

Something special for a Bestie who is turning 10!
A lightweight blanket to provide years of comfort and warmth.
Abbey chose the colour scheme and with the Bestie in mind, together we picked out some lovely material.

We hope the Bestie loves it as much as Abbey and I do!

Pink

This one is for Abbey;
and she's chuffed with it!
I like the shape of this one better than the green beanie.
I used up scraps again and I'm very pleased with this pink one. And I know Abbey will wear it!!
This one I made for Evie last winter;
and still fits this year.
I found the pattern here.

Homemade Freckles

Everyone loves a bit of chocolate-y goodness, right?
As one of our Christmas gifts for family and friends, Abbey and I made these
simple and delicious Chocolate Freckles.
We used this recipe as a guide.
We used more chocolate - a mixture of cadbury's and choc melts. We melted the
chocolate in a glass bowl over simmering water.
Delicious!

Made by Abbey

My big girl surprises me sometimes, she picks up the crafty stuff so quickly and
wants to have a go at just about everything I make!
Here are a few things that she created for presents for friends and family.

The Little Bird was made by me.
They are easy little things to make and they are on Abbey's to do list!
