Friday afternoon free-time

This afternoon while Little Evie had her afternoon nap and before school pick-up time, 

I managed to have a little time for myself.

The sun was shining and the air was warm, so what better way to enjoy and 

take advantage of the last days of summer??

 Why, a little bit of knitting of course!! 

It lasted just long enough before the sun started to disappear behind the clouds

and Little Evie woke from her nap!

A couple of rows is better than no rows!

Lil' Pumpkins...

The pumpkins volunteered themselves from the compost.

And they are beginning to take over!

And they are producing a couple of lil' pumpkins!

This is the first time I have had pumpkins grow!

I'm very happy about this!

And there are more on their way....

I'm going to have to find some new pumpkin recipes!

Our Summer 2011

 Hot sunny days have been few and far between this summer.

And sadly we are entering the last few weeks of our favourite season.

My Little Rainbow

Here is my contribution to Crochet a Rainbow; 

They are ready to be posted off to Sarah London to be made into lovely

Granny Square Blankets and will then be donated to flood victims.
